About us
Buddha Bikes is a workshop, a factory and a shop. It is also a workplace, a clubhouse and a community.

With an activist approach, we oppose the unsustainable use-and-throw-away culture that characterizes our relationship with both materials and people. With us, old iron and young people get another chance.

Far too many young people are trapped in the social systems, and every year Danes consume up to 500,000 bicycles. Buddha Bikes trains new, skilled mechanics who reincarnate good used bikes every day.

Our results are by no means world-changing, but we do what we can. And so can everyone else.
