We are busy and looking for a skilled bicycle mechanic with a driver's license.

The company is run according to principles of co-determination, democracy, and that hard work should be both fun and profitable.
We have a boss, but he's mostly our secretary. When work gets too hard and stressful, we close down and go to the spa instead.

Buddha Bikes is both an independent workshop, a social economy enterprise and a clubhouse for our 14 employees and the many friends of the house. We have a welder, a lathe and a room dedicated to making prototypes including never-before-seen vehicles for each year's Christmas party.
ABOUT THE POSITION
We are looking for a bicycle mechanic for our sister department, which we call Cykelven. It is a service where employees at various workplaces in KBH prepare their bicycles for service and repair. In general, the position is characterized by

Everything is done in a large car with about 12 m2 workshop in the back and you get a lot of say regarding the interior design, tools, etc.

Close to zero customer contact. It's done through the office and the customers are at work while you fix their bikes

Great independence is required and the associated freedom goes with it.

Short days and high hourly wage

Many short stops, so no, the winter is not as harsh as you might think
We want skilled mechanics and as a general rule, hobby experience does not count. If you are newly trained, you are welcome to apply. As long as you have worked in a professional bicycle repair shop for a few years, you will be considered for the position.
Remember that a driving license is essential.
